Meet the Manager
We’re only as good as our staff. Thankfully they’re really, really good
We are here for your child and you
Our work has one clear focus: your child’s individual needs. In order for us to support your child’s development in the best possible way, we employ people with different educational training backgrounds. They all attend regular training courses, which enable them to bring new ideas and best practice to their daily work – ideas that benefit your child.
Early Years Manager
Liz Fortune (NVQ Level 3, B.Ed. Advanced Study of Early Years)
Liz commenced managing Beautiful Beginnings in September 2008. She has over 15 years experience of caring for and teaching young children. Liz began her career as a practitioner in 1996 and developed her skills with children aged 3 months onwards before returning to full-time education at Hope University where she gained her B.Ed. After University Liz was appointed as Nursery Manager in a family run Nursery, developing and refining her practice and skills. Since this first experience she has managed three other Nurseries across Liverpool and the North West.
“Throughout my training and experience, it was my dream to put the best of everything I learned into a brand new nursery. As such, at Beautiful Beginnings, I insist on the highest standard of care, the best quality staff, the warmest surroundings and a service to match.
My commitment to my ongoing continuous professional development is achieved through the attendance of a wide range of both internal and external short training courses.
Since starting my journey at Beautiful Beginnings I have had my own daughter who now attends the Nursery. This has been the best training of all as I now see the Nursery not only as a Manager but as a parent also.”

We believe that every child deserves the best start in life; to achieve this they need first and foremost supporting and sensitive adults looking after them.
